Louisiana native, Khalil McKnight, immerses himself in the world of self-portraiture. He currently attends the Rhode Island School of Design, where he's pursuing his BFA. Through double self-portraiture, he explores ideas of individuality and its connection to racial stereotypes. His other interests lie in history, where the Harlem Renaissance and subjects of political cartoons help inspire his work. He has been in several juried exhibitions throughout the United States and plans to become a full-time artist.
